Half Summit is a Gateway to the Himalayas on World Motorcycle Day.


Since the first ride in June 2012, Riderthon is India’s first and only Riding festival to the Himalayas. This June we take it one step further by incorporating World Motorcycle day & World Music day - Mountains, Music & Motorcycles. A weekend ride, away from the city. 

Riders from all over India & around the globe, on the longest day of the year, June 21st, the Solstice, ride to celebrate Brotherhood of the road on World Motorcycle Day. Therefore Riding, is the only way to attend Riderthon’s Half Summit to Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh. 

Celebrate World Motorcycle Day in the Himalayas, at one of the most iconic destination for any rider, Manali. Experience India’s scenic outdoors and brilliant artists through the culture of camping & adventure festivals across Himalayas.


Rock n Roll, Tribute Concert :
An classic Tribute to Rock legends across 60’s, 70’s, 80’s. June 21st also is the World Music Day and Riderthon brings a lineup of emerging talent showcasing an eclectic mix of Rock artists from India & Nepal to play their tribute. The music resonates the surrounding ecology and will be nothing less than “Inspiring". 


Camping, Old Manali :
Destination : At a distance of 3 km northwest of Manali is Old Manali, famous for its orchards and old guesthouses. Calm and serene surroundings coupled with the sound of Beas river is a very peaceful experience.

Location : Secretly tucked away behind a forest facing the mighty mountains, the camp site is surrounded by numerous trails through dense forests that lead you into unspoilt nature, hidden scenic views, beautiful gorges and awe inspiring locations just waiting to be discovered. 

Accommodation : Quality tents with clean good facilities and extremely sanitary conditions promise to make your stay an absolute delight. The foodies can expect numerous joys from the multi cuisine kitchen and even try their hands at the barbecue grills & bonfires to whip up their personal favorites.

Live Music, Mountains, Motorcycles & Bonfires, Barbecue, 2 Bars and much more all in the midst of Nature. 


CSR (Green Action) : We have taken utmost care to ensure the festival ethos amalgates itself with the local elements, rather than create a conflict of space with the pristine surroundings.

Sustainability : All our campsites & venues are hand picked venues that run on a sustainable model of functioning, minimising footprint on the ecosystem. 

Responsibility : All this while staying totally committed to our avowed goal of "Zero Residual Damage". All the music and LED lights at the festivals use minimal power. No paper or plastic is used for the festival and no pollution of the site is tolerated. All waste materials will be recycled or disposed responsibly at the end of the festival. 

Accountability : All production jobs are outsourced locally to reduce carbon footprint and support Sustainable tourism while encouraging a Responsible travel.

Pre WMD Events & Meetups :
