ABOUT SAR PASS

Sar Pass is a moderately challenging trek in the Parvati Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Situated at an altitude of 13,800 ft, it can be considered as a great introduction to high altitude trekking. This trek is also very popular amongst Indian trekkers. Trekking, after all, is about the joy of solitude and silence, as much as it is about forming everlasting friendships. Reporting at Kasol (Before 9 AM)
Day 1: Reporting to Kasol (Rock climbing, Rappelling in Kasol )
Day 2: Trek from Kasol to Grahan 
Day 3: Trek from Grahan to Ming Thatch
Day 4: Trek from Ming Thach to Bishkeri (11,000 ft) via SAR PASS 
Day 5: Trek from Bishkeri to Bandak thatch (8,000 ft)
Day 6: Trek from Bandak thatch to Kasol by evening

How to Reach

For Sar Pass trail, our base camp is at Kasol which is linked by road to Kullu via Bhuntar.It is 5 km short of Manikaran, famous for hot water springs. Regular bus service is available from Kullu and Bhuntar to reach Kasol. Direct buses are also available to Manikaran from Chandigarh and other parts of Punjab. Nearest railhead are Joginder Nagar, Pathankot and Chandigarh.
Nearest airport is Bhuntar. Delux, Semi Delux and ordinary night/day buses are available from Delhi, Chandigarh and other parts of Punjab.
