This is one of the major festivals celebrated in the temples of Lord Vishnu.

The festivities in our temple on this day include a grand abhisheka and arati to Sri Srinivasa Govinda and special darshan of the Lord at the Vaikuntha Dwara (the gate to Vaikuntha). It is said that anyone who enters the Vaikuntha Dwara on this day is guaranteed to attain the spiritual abode. Non-grain prasadam is served to all the devotees visiting the temple on this auspicious occasion. The darshan is open from 8:00 a.m. to 12 midnight.
