Did you get to go to a Prom?... Well neither did I ☹. But don’t be sad. Here is our opportunity!!

And the best part, this Prom night comes without the stress of asking a date out or being worried that you won’t be asked. Come alone or come with friends. Join the Mumbai social dancing community for a dream night of fun.

Dress code: Dress your best! But ensure that you will remain cool and comfortable too cause remember that you are going to be dancing.

Yami and Marta will choose the best dressed male and female of the night and they will be crowned Prom King and Prom Queen

CARNIVAL

Sunday, 21st October, 2018
Time: 9:30pm onward

Have you ever attended a Brazilian carnival? Well if you have, you know it is just awesome!!

It’s time to get your funky hat or headgear, mask, colourful feathers, beads, tassles and dancing shoes and come out and just let your hair down and have some fun! Don’t worry if you don’t have any or couldn’t figure out where to go out and find them. They will be available at the venue at nominal rates.

Dress code: colourful upmarket party wear. 

This night will include an all female group dance performance. The participants of the 3 hour ladies styling bootcamp with Marta Mignone will perform. Marta is one of the pioneers of the internationally accepted norm of ladies styling in Kizomba. The performers would have trained with her for 3 hours over Saturday and Sunday in a dance workshop.

MUSIC at both the parties: Kizomba 35%, Bachata 20%, Salsa 20%, Jive 15%, Cha Cha 8%, Pop 2%
On request Samba, Rumba, Foxtrot and Waltz will be played.

Yami and Marta are not only Kizomba stars but are also Salsa, Bachata and Cha Cha stars too.

A lot of established dancers, teachers and advanced social dancers in all these dance forms will also be in attendance.

Per night passes and on the spot purchase at the door will be subject to space.

INCLUDED IN THE PASS:
- One welcome drink per night (juice/wine spritzer/wine)

BAGGAE COUNTER
Bags other than wallets and small purses, Spare shoe bags, Umbrellas, Helmets and so on and so forth will have to be left at the baggage counter for a nominal fee of Rs.10 per bag for the duration of your stay. These will not be let into the main dance hall

- Masks, feathers, beads, tassles etc. will be available at the venue at nominal rates

- Consumption of food will not be allowed in the main dance hall. Consumption of alcohol and beverages will be prohibited on the dance floor.

YAMI (France)

He teaches Kizomba, Semba, kizomba fusion, Afro House / Kuduro and Bachata (modern and Dominican).

Internationally renowned, Yami is known and recognized for his pedagogy, originality, technique and passion for dance. He was the first French teacher to export Kizomba to the United States.

The quality and diversity of his courses make him one of the most requested artistes on the international Latin-American scene ... (USA, France, Germany, Russia, Australia, Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Congo)

Yami is a self-taught dancer who draws his influence from urban and Afro-Caribbean culture. Founder of "STEP ONE" brand and a passionate teacher since 2007, he is also a choreographer for himself and for other dancers.

Today Yami partners Marta, the Italian dancer, teacher and choreographer. They are teaching and performing worldwide because this new partnership is already creating waves across the International dancing scene.

MARTA (Italy)

Marta Mignone 
Italian dancer from Milan, she was introduced to the salsa world between 2006/ 2007 and since then she has had training in all the Latin style dances, as well as reggaeton and acrobatic dances. She was competing in salsa and bachata world competitions for 2 years, whereupon she pursued her career with teaching and performing in many countries with her partner from Italy. 

Since 2012 she has been teaching and performing kizomba, developing and representing a new style for female dancers mixed with her salsa background within technical rules based on her dance knowledge. Today she is a worldwide icon in the kizomba scene and she travels around the world sharing her love and her passion for the dance through workshops and shows.

Now days she partners French dancer, teacher and choreographer Yami of Step One, and they are teaching and performing worldwide because this new combination are already creating waves across the International dancing scene
