Mumbai Daud 2013 is organized with the cause of creating awareness about Eye donation and several other charitable causes. The participation at the event is expected to be over  5000 including the numerous spectators across the 10kms stretch of Borivali, Kanivali and Malad belt, which has a population of over 3 million.

Cause:  

The Mumbai Daud Run for a Cause is being organized as an attempt to raise awareness and funds for the cause of eye donation across the country. The Rotary Club of Borivali, which is organizing this event is organized in association with the “Manjulaben Dolatrai Desai Rotary Borivli Eye Bank & Proceesing center”  that has successfully  provided corneas to more than 700 blind people and changed their lives.

About Mumbai Daud 2013:

Mumbai Daud Run for a Cause is the Biggest Public event, which is being hosted  in Borivali, Kandivali, Malad belt. The charity run would feature three categories in which the participants can register themselves. The categories and the takeaways in easy category  are as follows:

10 km — Professional Run – timing chip & certificate for the serious runners.

5 km  — dream Walk/Run to showcase your charitable cause.

2 km — Kids Run for children.
