Young Indians - Madurai Chapter and Nativelead Foundation are jointly organizing the second edition of the mega Start-Up idea contest "Aarambam". The first edition of the event was a successful one with mainstream finalist “Happy Hens” receiving a funding of INR 50 lakhs from Native Angels Network (NAN), the investing arm of Nativelead Foundation. Yi is keen in promoting Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Skill development initiatives throughout the country, part of their thematic objective. Nativelead is a focused organization to build the ecosystem for new age entrepreneurship in tier II & III regions.

The entries can be submitted at www.aarambam.in from 4th November’2015 and the last date for submission will be 3rd January’2016.

The short listed entries will be called for the preliminary evaluation sessions at Madurai on 9th January’2016 & Viruthunagar on 10th January’2016.

Ten outstanding entries in each category would be called for the finals, to be held at the Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Thirupparankundram, Madurai on 19th January’ 2016.

The winning ideas from the mainstream entrepreneurs may get an opportunity to present at NANs investor pitch event and mentoring support from Nativelead Foundation. The student ideas will be appropriately awarded with a citation and prize money.

This would be a great opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to take their ventures to the next level, while students get an opportunity to showcase their ideas on a platform which could help them achieve great heights through alternative career opportunities.
