While Humayun’s Tomb is probably one of the most popular tourist destinations in Delhi, what lies buried in this spectacular tomb is also the history of women who were behind its construction. Humayun’s tomb, and the women in Humayun’s life, broke many patterns and traditions, but their stories have barely been a part of cultural memory. How do you remember women in history without any physical memorialisation, and concrete edifices? Sahapedia, in association with Feminist Mohalla, invites you to this walk at Humayun’s Tomb and other picturesque spots nearby, to rediscover stories, histories and meanings.
