About us

Leh- Ladakh have gradually become the places where adventure sport enthusiasts and nature lovers from all parts of the world gather to witness the heavenly beauty, juxtaposed with the hell like challenges posed by the natural terrain of the area. One comes here to challenge the physical limits of the body and gets mesmerized by the simplicity of the people and complexity of the valley. Leh Ladakh are the places for you if you want to leave the comfort of the cosy drawing room behind and looking for some real adventure- like river rafting, biking and a relatively beginner level trek with the soothing Buddhist chants all around in the air.

The trek we have chosen here takes you through the beautiful meadow valley and the villages otherwise not approachable by road, the smiling facing the residents will surely confuse you but soon you will realize what they have is priceless!

Itinerary:

Day 0(14th August) : Take an evening bus from Delhi to Manali.

Day 1: Early morning reach Manali freshen up at Mount Ville Manali and then head onward for you journey to Leh.

Day 02: Arrive at Leh

Welcome at the Hotel by the expedition leaders with the traditional Ladakhi silk scarf “Khatak”.
Acclimatizing to the altitude is very important journey before doing any activity so we take rest and venture out to the city market in evening for a casual stroll. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Leh - Pangong Tso

After breakfast, drive from Leh to Manali past Shey and Thiksey – the mound of earthen monastic dwellings, crowned by the Gompa. At Karu, which is a junction, you take a detour and start ascending to cross the Ladakh range over Chang-La (5,475 M / 17950 ft.) At the foot of the pass on the other side we reach Tangse village. The valley is blessed with a beautiful stream flowing through it, originating from the lake, giving a greenish tincture to the otherwise dry landscape around.
Apart from flora this area is rich in fauna too. You can see a lot of Himalayan Marmots around the area. However, the main attraction of this circuit is the grand Pangong Tso, which you would reach by early evening. The mesmerizing beauty and the fantastic view of Tso places it a league above anything you have seen so far.Stay overnight in safari tents by the lake shore.
You may carry cycles and pedal around the lake. You may also visit Chulsul village and Merak Monastery to look at a picturesque view of the lake.

Overnight at Pangong.

Lamayuru is Ladakh’s oldest monastery and is set in a surreal surrounding called the Moonland, because of its topography. We all were special invitees to the Morning Prayer in the monastery and it was an incredibly uplifting spiritual experience. We also take blessings of the local gods for our journey which begins tomorrow. Enroute visit the famous Pathar Saheb Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Confluence point and beautiful villages of Ladakh. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
