Art Bengaluru is South India's leading contemporary Art Festival and 2016 marks its 7th year. One of the most reputed Art Festivals in India, Art Bengaluru has been created to showcase a wide spectrum of art forms and provide a platform for artists (both Indian and International) to exhibit their works. The festival, at its core, comprises of four distinct verticals - Art, Performance Art, Workshops and Speaking Sessions. A fifth vertical has been added this year: Cinema.

The theme for the 7th edition of Art Bengaluru has been derived out of current events and positive changes that have taken place in the country, thereby making India emerge as a major player on the Global stage in almost all fields. India is a country with a population of over 1 billion people with a love for their culture. It is a country of immense diversification and one that embraces newness. And currently, it is the youngest country. These four features encapsulate the 'Spirit of India'. Art Bengaluru 2016 invites you to "Celebrate the World with the Spirit of India."
