“Films are essentially an imitation of things in their ideal form, in which the idealized form of life and humanity is depicted”.

A film is just not a combination of events on the screen, it’s an emotion, art, which is garnished by writer’s imagination and inventions into it and finally when it is done, a film is made, which acts as an inspiration for hundreds out there who couldn’t do it somehow moreover holds our brain quotient and frame of mind.

Another year has arrived with conspicuous new thoughts & imaginations. ”Srishti” is founded to entice you all with that. Cvrce fraternity magnamously welcomes everyone to the Odisha’s Largest Short Film Festival Srishti 2k18. A superfluous glorification of creativity & emotions on the screen. It’s a platform which articulates others efforts & our combined dreams through hard work, overwhelmed with a conscientious sense of responsibility to draw attention to be emerging talents, to honour the creativity of rising enthusiasts and in the meanwhile boost the film culture among today’s youth.

At the end of it, the jury members decide the winner. Not only the best movie is acknowledges, but also the best direction, screenplay, story, acting and graphics are also awarded. The first edition of Srishti was organised on 11^th February,2k15 and Mr. Siddhant Mahapatra, who is renowned Odia Film Actor and Political Figure along with National Awarded Sabyasachi Mohapatra graced the occassion. This year makes the fourth grand & magnamous edition of Srishti and we, the core team aims to take it to a next higher level, to make it a huge success. We would like to welcome you all to join explosion of motion pictures. We have participation from all over  the country and prizes at stake are very high.

During every year, new experiences are shared and different skills are discovered. It will be our endeavor to further improve this benchmark and raise the bar for this edition. We are constantly encouraged by you all who shown much confidence and given their fullest support. So lets make it another successful journey of Srishti beyond excellence, as improvement is a never ending journey and sky is the limit.
