Yes Bank Art Bengaluru 2015 is proud to present Girish Shahane LIVE in Bangalore. A well-received speaker in the artistic world, Girish has degrees in English literature from Elphinstone College, Oxford University & the Bombay University. He is known for curating some of the best exhibitions all over the world.

Girish Shahane was editor and later consulting editor of Art India Magazine and continues to be a faculty of art history courses run by the Bhau Daji Lad Museum and Jnanapravaha.

Shahane was also the Director of Skoda Prize for Indian Contemporary Art from 2011 to 2013, in addition to being the Artistic Director of Art Chennai, 2014. He is currently Artistic Director of the India Art Fair & writes a weekly column for Scroll.in. His session promises to be engaging and an exciting one and Yes Bank Art Bengaluru feels honoured to have him for their sixth edition!
