Traditional artisans from Kutch will discuss the experiences and aspirations of artisans the issues and challenges they face in raising the value of their work in today's world, and the broader meaning and importance of sustaining traditions. Initiated by Somaiya Kala Vidya, an Institute of Education for Artisans based in Kutch, the seminar is the culmination of the Artisan Designers' ten-month Business and Management course.

An eminent panel of experts including Ms. Anita Lal, Founder and Creative Director, Good Earth; Mr. Saswata Biswas, Senior Faculty, the Institute for Rural Management Anand; Ms. Ritu Sethi, Founder and Director, Craft Revival Trust; and Ms. Vaishali Bahel, Category Head for Garment Accessories, Fab India will view the work of the artisans.  Following this in-depth interaction, these artisans and experts will share their discussions with an audience of people who care deeply for tradition, art and artisans.
