‘SCRIPTING TIME|MEMORY|ECOLOGY' curated by Roobina Karode showcasing the works of seven women artists including Zarina, Lala Rukh, Ayesha Sultana, Prabhavathi Meppayil, Sumakshi Singh, Mrinalini Mukherjee and Jayashree Chakravarty, whose personal experience and generational differences spanning numerous decades mark key moments in the long and troubled durée of South Asian history. The exhibition provides a spectrum of artistic languages varying from the abstract and allusive to quasi-representational. The generational distance of Mrinalini Mukherjee and Jayashree Chakravarty from the younger contemporary artists like Ayesha and Prabhavathi envelop the viewer into an art immersive space where every distinction and opposition is suspended and overridden, graciously by the remnants of nature preserved in these artworks with their yet unexhausted power to resurrect and restore.

The exhibition continues till 30^th June 2020.
