Sattva is the Annual college fest of NMIMS’ Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering. “Sattva” means Purity. Purity in the deeds we do, in the dreams we believe, in the goals we set & in the efforts we put. Sattva is the Existence of Purity.

Welcome to the 6^th Edition of Sattva. Since its’ inception in the year 2006-07, it has witnessed many big events. Here at Sattva, we aim to give the best platform to the talented and encourage them and with a determined approach of believing in change and out casting the stigma of impurity from the society. Besides the fun filled activities, it also helps enhancing the personality of students in the best possible way. Spreading over a span of three days, it is filled with various events and learning workshops encompassing various fields like Literary Arts, Performing Arts, Management and Sports.

Dance, Music & Drama…you will find it all at Sattva.

Aamchi Mumbai :

There is Heaven, there is Hell and then there is Mumbai. Mumbai is a city environment, undefinable and limitless in its intent and content. It’s a Journey into a realm seemingly bound in a time warp, and yet in a constant endeavor to break through sometimes fragile and many a times hard barriers. The city has received many brickbats and bouquets over the years and just like the sea surrounding it has absorbed unpalatable entities and has returned sanitized sanity to the shores. Mumbai is a city, which is perpetually and astonishingly regenerating and reinventing itself,breaking all established precedents about integrity of cities that are growing beyond their capabilities and limitations. If there is a concept of a rival to ‘utopia’, it is Mumbai, a curiously organic physical entity that is metaphorically a planet on its own, that hands out a platter joy and sorrow in probably equal proportions to all without discriminations. Every recipient experiences these emotions equally, probably different in their content and extent because of individual‘s point of view.

How else and how better, can one describe this city which has over the years been praised by many of its own courtesans and jesters, despised and defaced by its own scheming, power hungry and powerful dependents. Mumbai yet floats majestically with foundations that are firmly entrenched in its seemingly watery soil. This magical mixture of wide form of Cultures including Performing Arts, Theatre, Literary Arts, Sports, Creativity and various other things makes us shout it out loud.. "Aamchi Mumbai" !! 

Through Sattva’14 we would like to recreate the same magic and aura the city has seen and lived with.. through many undaunting years. The undying spirit of Sattva stays high again this year.. the excitement and fun is back in action in bombaiya style. A tinch of cutting chai, irani cafes, thrilling festivals, dance, music, crazy creativity and the high energy of Mumbai will all be experienced this year at Sattva’14.
