Qareeb, which means come close & here they mean come close to music. Qareeb is a delhi based bollywood sufi rock band. The band is formed in the year 2014 and has been performing all over since then. Wajahad, the vocalist started learning indian classical music when he was just 5 years old. He belongs to Etawa, Farakhabad gharana. He is learning from legends like Padmabhusan Ustad Sabri Khan Sahab and Ustad Riyaz Ahmad Khan Sahab. He is a versatile singer who can enthrall the crowd with his powerful performance. sufi, ghazal is his forte, but he enjoys all the genres. He took part in a reality show called 'Sitaron Ko Choona Hai' on Real Channel & was amongst India’s top 7 contestants and later featured on Sony Mix’s brand promos, at the launch time of the said channel. Qareeb promises an enthralling performance everytime and leaves the crowd asking for more.
