About us

The American Center New Delhi invites you to the enactment of A.R. Gurney’s play "Love Letters" by Lee Alison Sibley and George Sibley.

"Love Letters" debuted at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, Connecticut in 1988. With only two characters, this timeless piece of drama has comic elements too as it deals with many themes including friendship, love, loyalty and heartache. An intimate play in which the audience feels part of the history of the man and woman, it shows how life itself is revealed through love letters.

The 90-minute drama has been translated into many languages including in the Indian context as the widely popular play "Tumhari Amrita."

We look forward to seeing you there.
