NES-2013
The National Entrepreneurship Summit 2013 is an initiative by E-Cell, NIT Rourkela to bridge the gap between students mind and his dream to become an entrepreneur. Formerly known as Vritantta, NES will be a platform for learning & interaction of students, entrepreneurs, faculties, industry leaders etc. from across the World. It shall be a mix of Key Note Speakers, Guest Lectures, Events, Workshops, Video Conference, Start-Up Camp, Panel Discussion and Round Table Conference.
Entrepreneurs are the creatures that have the guts and wit to change the way the rest of the world perceive at any instance. Take anyone from a small owner of a food stall to the stalwart owner of Facebook; everyone has a unique factor which makes him stand apart from the crowd in their own different ways. With this in mind, the theme in this edition is "Crack the Shell", i.e. to break all the mental shackles that can kill an entrepreneur before hatching.
>> myCITI campaign:
NES-2013 brings forward the "myCITI" campaign in which our team will go to the cities in and around Orissa. Under this campaign, events will be organized in a reputed college of your city with a key note speech from a local entrepreneur about the general entrepreneurial issues in your own city. Here you have a chance to get certified as your college ambassador by partnering with us to organize the initiative. Register as a College Ambassador in our Register page. The probable cities where we can land up with myCITI campaign are:
Bhubaneshwar, Burla, Berhampur, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Durgapur, Patna, Kolkata, Jadavpur, Nagpur, Indore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Vijaywada and other many more.

The summit gives you a chance to witness speakers from various ecosystems. A short talk can often be very inspiring. Give yourself a chance to get out of the comfort zone.
