Mood Indigo, or Mood I, as it is fondly called, is the Annual Cultural Festival of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
 Held towards the end of December every year, it attracts a whopping 
1,26,000 students from more than 1600 colleges all over the world. It 
holds a Limca record for the maximum number of international artists at a
 cultural festival.
 
 In the past, Mood Indigo has been a stage 
for the most unique and entertaining performances in India. With 
competitions that bring out the best youth talent in the country, Mood 
Indigo has also had some of the most outstanding performances over the 
past few years are those by Porcupine Tree, Katatonia, Sumo Wrestlers, 
Mike Portnoy, Sander Van Doorn, Asha Bhosale, Amit Trivedi, Shankar 
Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, Chris Korn, Tararum Group, Victor Rubilier 
and many many more.
Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay's cultural festival is currently in its 45th edition and has grown to become Asia's largest college cultural
 festival. Holding a record for maximum international artist in a 
cultural festival, Mood Indigo constantly keeps growing every year. 
Being a festival entirely organised by students, Mood Indigo provides 
the students with not only the proper professional exposure but also a 
great experience filled with learning.
 
 Aiming to provide 
something for everyone, Mood Indigo has a huge legacy of top quality 
competitions to nurture youth talent and promote it through the "Live 
Your Passion" campaign. With concerts and various artists performing 
over 4 days, Mood Indigo makes it a point to constantly entertain the 
visitors.
 
 In its attempt to give back to the society, Mood 
Indigo takes up a social cause every year. The largest blood donation 
drive in India, a platelet donation drive and an anti-depression drive 
being some of the prominent ones.
 
 The 45th edition of Mood Indigo will be from the 18th-21st December 2015.
