Event details:-

MAEER's MIT, Pune organises a national level inter-engineering sports meet "MIT Summit" during the months August-September which will be held for the 11th time this year. the main aim of our event is to promote upcoming sporting individuals especially those who are persuing an engineering degree. Summit'15 received an overwhelming response with over 110 colleges competing comprising of over 5000 participants. Prizes worth Rs. 7 lakhs are up for grabs. We provide facilities for lodging, transportation and food. MIT Summit incorporates a point system on which the best college will be awarded a rooling trophy and a cash price of Rs 40,000 along with handsome individual cash prices for seperate events. 

Last years summit'15 was inaugurated by padma shri V.V.S Laxman.The other notable personalities who have graced our event are Mr. Irfan Pathan,Mr Cheteshwar Pujara,Mr Kiran More(Arjuna Awardee),Mr. Vijendra Singh(first bronze      olympic medal for an indian boxer,Mrs. M.C Mary Kom(Khel Ratna Awardee),Mr. Dilip Vengsarkar(Arjuna Awardee),Honourable sri Yogeshwr Dutt(Bronze Olympic medalist)Mr Chandu Borde(Padma Bhushan,Padma Shri,Arjuna awardee)
