Ragini’s innocence was stolen at a very young age.Tears fill her eyes nearly every time she thinks of her drastic step in past. Now she trusts no one. Not even herself. Her expressions and demeanor gets evident as she sits in the corner penning her life haunting experiences through a medium of a diary as she was drowned in hopelessness and despair. She was emotionally, physically and sexually abused, as every day is shaped by the fear that she will be discovered and that her true identity will be revealed. She is completely alone with no friends, thrown out of a family who saw her as bad luck and her own son who wish her dead.

If anything is dearest to the selfless but self-righteous Ragini, it's her pride. How does she faces life with a proud zest makes this classic a heartbreaking yet heartwarming story.
