Lingana is a massive pinnacle on the mainline of the Sahyadris between Raigad and Torna. It takes its name from its shape which is like a linga. First half is easy to climb while the second is difficult. Its rock cut steps have been destroyed and the fort is almost completely inaccessible. No fortifications or buildings remain but there are traces of a grain store and some cisterns. From last 6 years it becomes a hot destination for Real adventure Lovers. Day 1 by sharp 1.00 PM from Explorers Office, Tilak Road.

• Arrival Date & Time:
Day 2 around 11.00 PM at Explorers Office, Tilak Road.
(We may come to Pune ONE Hour Before OR After the given time)

• Meeting Time and Place:
Day 1 by sharp 12.30 PM at Explorers Office, Tilak Road.

• Walking Time (Estimated): 2.5 hours to reach the Base of Lingana from Mohari Village & 6 Hours Climbing & Rappelling.

Pune - Mohari. - Pune by Private Non AC High back Bus.

• Route:
Pune - Via Sinhgad Road - Jambhulwadi Tunnel - Satara Road - Nasrapur - Velha - Kelad Khind - Mohari. (Base Village)

WHAT TO BRING 
• A Good Quality of Rucksack with all inside luggage packed in a plastic bag.
• Water Bottle - Min. 3 Ltr. (Water is not available in trek route.)
• Bedding (Bring Sufficient Bedding, Warm Cloths)
• Torch with Extra Cell. Head Torch will be preferred, if you are buying new.
• Extra Dress - One (Optional) – Keep it in a Village
• Napkin 
• Glucon - D OR Electrol - Optional
• Shoes Compulsory in a Good Condition while trekking & at the time of Activity. 
(Don’t wear Leather shoes & Woodland shoes)
• Dress Code on the day of Trekking: Explorers T-shirt, Flexible Track pant (HALF PANT NOT ALLOWED.)
• Any type of addictions like tobacco, Liquor, etc is strictly not allowed.
• Long Sleeves T-shirt will be preferred inside the Tshirt given by Explorers.
• Personal Medicines, if any.

Please follow the given procedure to register for event through E-transfer / Cash Deposit.

1. Call Explorers and confirm the availability of seat.
2. Transfer the money to “Explorers” Account.
3. Send us an email at explorerspune@gmail.com mentioning Name, Mobile number, Email Id & age of all the Participants, Screen shot of Amount Transferred or Acknowledgement copy of pay-in-slip, transaction ID / Ref. ID, Date & Name of the event.

When you register online, It is assumed that you have gone through all the rules and have accepted it. 

Direct payment by E- Transfer does not automatically ensure entry to the event. Before transferring the amount, you are required to confirm with the Explorers office if the seats are available. If amount is transferred without consulting the Explorers office the registration will not be considered confirm if the seats are full and the amount will be refunded by cheque at office after 7 days from the date of Event.
