| With the advent of 5G technology, use of IOT to automate and track real time data has become a reality. However, technical, social, and economic challenges posed by the widespread integration of physical devices, vehicles, buildings, and other items with internet-based technologies is still a burning issue. |

| Some of the key challenges in this area include privacy and security concerns, data management and interoperability issues, lack of standardization, and the need for effective user-cantered design. |
| To address these challenges, |
| Global Incubation Services(GINSERV) and EFI have together designed the IOT Grand Challenge in collaboration with experts and researchers who are working on developing new technologies in the field of IOT. |
