Photography Exhibition - 'Into The Wild'

Around 150 photographs from various sub categories i.e birds,mammals,reptiles,and flora will be displayed. Freelancers often do not have the resources to obtain necessary exposure to reach audiences at a personal level apart from the 'e-world' let's not miss this excellent opportunity to experience such exceptional quality photo's under one roof.

What are we looking for? 
We are looking for striking digital images to celebrate people and nature -- and their important connection to each other.

Please do not include photographs of pets or domestic animals. Images of Captive animals photographed in zoos and commercial games farms are also prohibited, however photos from the state and national wildlife life preserves are allowed.

1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 The competition is open to all Indian Citizens and Permanent Residents residing in India.


2. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES
2.1 Photographs of not more than 10 MB in size must be submitted online and the Organisers may request for higher resolution images 
subsequently.

2.2 Entries should be in JPEG format (HIGH RES) and at least 1600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1600 pixels tall for a vertical image.

2.3 Each participant can submit up to 15 entries.

2.4 Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photos will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.

2.5 The Organisers reserve the right to reject entries with incomplete details. The submission deadline is 18 May, 2015, before 11.59pm.

2.6 All submitted materials are non-returnable. The file name for each photograph should be clearly labelled with the participant’s name, and where the photograph was taken.


3. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
3.1 Entries must be the original and unpublished work of the participant and copyright owner.
3.2 The Organisers reserve the right to reproduce any entry in print, broadcast and/or electronic media without requiring the permission of the participant and without any fee payment. However the photographer will be acknowledged.
3.3 Images received through the photography competition will not be used for commercial purposes.
3.4 Image Copyright marks will not be considered eligible

4. PRIZES
4.1 Prizes are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable for cash or in kind.
4.2 The Organisers reserve the right to modify the competition prizes and its rules and regulations as and when necessary, without prior notice.
4.3 The Organisers are not liable for any fault with any of the prizes and any issues should be referred to the Manufacturer/Supplier.

5. JUDGING AND RESULTS
5.1 The images will be selected by a panel of judges and their decision is final. No correspondence pertaining to the selection
process and decision will be entertained.
5.2 The panel of judges will evaluate the entries based on the following criteria:
- Artistic/visual appeal.
- Extent to which the photograph captures the essence of the theme.

5.3 Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity and relevance to the theme.

5.4 The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prizes if the photographs submitted do not meet the requirements stated in this 
document.
5.5 Results of the competition will be posted on the Save Aarey Facebook Page and winners will also be notified via email.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
6.1 Submission of entries signifies acceptance of the rules and regulations of the competition.
6.2 While the Organisers will exercise due care during the collection, selection and storage of images, it shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or destruction of the images.

7. ORGANISERS
The “Into The Wild’’ photography competition cum exhibition is organised by the Save Aarey Conservation Group Authority (SACG).
