India Design ID 2016 – An ideal design and decor feast that showcases the talent of upcoming and established designers and design labels. The exhibition helps create a new generation of creative and business-based talent factories to help fuel the design economy of the country. It recognises and celebrates designers and creativity from diverse disciplines in designing ­– from product to interiors, architecture to conservation and installation to lighting.

The week-long event will flag off on 5^th February, 2016 with off-site activities across the design districts of the city, culminating with the main event at the NSIC Grounds, Okhla on the weekend of 12^th -14^th February 2016.

It comprises of three verticals – Exhibit ID, ID Symposium and ID Satellite. This collaboration will bring together the design community to share their experiences, knowledge and aesthetics through exhibitions, installations and discussions.

i.  Exhibit ID (12^th Feb - 14^th Feb’16): The three-day event will be open to trade and general visitors to view the finest in home decoration and design. High-end brands and creatives will present collections through individual booths, trend galleries and installations; plus a curated montage of contemporary craft and young talent.

 

ii.  ID Symposium (12^th Feb - 13^th Feb’16):  This is the Conference Series where the masters of design will hold lectures and discussions. While seeking to inspire the design fraternity in India, it also offers a networking opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas and build relationships within the industry. ID Symposium 2016 would feature eminent speakers from different walks of life, such as Verendra Wakhloo, Amit Syngle, Ashiesh Shah, Ayaz and Zameer Basrai, Bijoy Jain, Dominique Jean-Lavabre, Fernando Menis, Greg Reaves, India Mahdavi, to name a few.

 iii. ID Satellite (5^th Feb - 14^th Feb’16): This hip offsite vertical will create a new wave of design within eminent design districts of New Delhi. Various interesting promotions, installations and events will be held across different venues –transforming the city into a magnanimous design destination.
