The marathon fever is spreading as the Hyderabad 10K Run is back with its recent edition Hyderabad 10K Run 2013. So here is a call to all the fitness, sports and running enthusiasts to gear up for the biggest marathon of the year Hyderabad 10K Run 2013, which would surely be bigger and better than it had been in the past.

Hyderabad 10K Run 2013:

Hyderabad 10K Run 2013 happening on November 24, would feature two categories, the elite and the open category, both of which are divided on the basis of the distance to be covered by the registered participants with 10 and 7k respectively.

The 10k Run or the Elite run would be a timed event and the participants would be provided with a Bib, T-Shirt and Timing Chip, while the 7K Run is more of a Fun Run where the participants would not be timed, and they would be provided with just the Bib and T-SHIRT-Shirt. As the  Open Category (7k Run) is not timed, the participants would not be awarded any prize or certificate of participation.

Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation:

Establised as an NGO (Not for Profit Organization) the Hyderabad 10K Run Foundation works with the motto of promoting the need for Health, Fitness and Sports across the society.  The Foundation  uses the proceeds raised through the events and donations to the organization for

1.       10 Km Running race

2.       Hyderabad Heritage Marathon

3.       Go! 5K Women’s Run

4.       School Sports & Athletics
