Goa Marathon 2014 is an annual marathon that is organized to support the cause of the homeless, which would transfer the proceeds from the run for the cause of providing Home for the homeless and Hope for the hopeless.

Goa Marathon Habitat for Humanity is a noble mission undertaken by the El Shaddai Charitable Trust is believed to be the most fun marathon in the country as the participants get to take part in it with several like minded people from across the country and run along the scenic Mandovi river

The third edition of the Goa Marathon Habitat for Humanity aims at attracting huge participation in the run to ensure that the needs of the charitable cause are well addressed, which is the reason behind the introduction of numerous categories in the Goa Marathon 2014, which includes Half Marathon – Open (21 kms) for people around 18 – 45  years, Half Marathon – Masters (21 kms) for people over 45 years and the Dream Run (5 kms), which would be for kids above 12 years of age.

The Goa Marathon 2014 is organized with three prime mottos, which are :

To Provide:

1.       Safe and decent homes for families in need

2.       Sanitation facilities for target communities and

3.       Educational centers for children in Goa and the Konkan region
