About Us:
The Goa Marathon is an annual event organized for the noble cause of Home for the homeless and Hope for the hopeless. It serves runners from all skill levels, from the first time marathoners to veteran racers, runners, run-walkers and walkers.
Brought to you by BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus in association with El Shaddai Charitable Trust and Habitat for Humanity India, this marathon is one of the most interesting and enjoyable marathons in India as you race across the scenic mandovi river. Goa being the tourism capital of India, this marathon finds lot of foreign sprinters participating in the event
Every penny collected through this event is used to build safe homes for people from marginalized communities, and to bring happiness and hope to the underprivileged children of the society. So put on your running shoes and hit the streets of Goa to test your stamina and support a noble cause along the way!

The Race
El Shaddai, Habitat for Humanity and BITS-Pilani (Goa), are partnering to host the Second Edition of the Goa Marathon on March 3, 2013.
Aim of the event
This charitable event seek to raise funds to provide - safe and decent homes for children and families in need as well as educational centres for children in Goa and the Konkan region

Race Route
« Both races will be flagged off at Campal Sports Authority of Goa ground Assemble, Panjim.
« The 21 km run route will wind along the bank of the scenic Mandovi River, loop around St. Peter’s church, Old Goa and culminate at Panjim. This race beings at 6:00am. Reporting time 5:15am
« The 5 km run route will turn around at the Collectorate and culminate at Panjim. This run starts at 8:00am. Reporting time 7:15am
