Freelance journalism as a career – the next step. Who is it for: It is suitable for anyone who is interested in telling stories from amazing India, in any language. It will also help those who are keen photographers and would like to sell their shots. Mentor: Pia Heikkila Why her: The workshop is taught by award winning journalist and author Pia Heikkila. Pia has worked for CNN and Al Jazeera, reporting from conflicts in countries as diverse as Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine. She has has been a freelance journalist in Afghanistan and India since 2008.
