FootPrints is Gujarat’s largest 3 day National Level Technical Festival, which had its dawn a decade ago. Over the 14 years since its inception, in 2001 by Sir Narayan Murthy, it has been rising in colossal proportions from a mere paper presentation comprising of 30 participants in Footprints'01 to FOOTPRINTS’14 that comprised of myriad competitions, workshops and seminars from the most incurred celebrities, having 21000 participants from all around the country. FOOTPRINTS have strived to nurture and enlighten the engineering minds of the country and have thereby earned the repute of an avant-garde technical fiesta.
FootPrints X2 witnessed exceptional tech and non tech events, tantalizing seminars and engaging workshops by virtuosos that included prof Chris Phillips from Imperial college of London, Nobel laureate Sir Harold Kroto, Prof pradeep Srivastava regarded as the father of scientoonics and prof Sugata Mitra, the inspiration behind the Oscar winning movie ‘Slumdog millionaire’ and a rocking concert night.
FootPrints X3 was evidence of stars on earth with amazing string of technical events surpassing the galaxy and with enthralling participation. Also with amazing speakers such as Jeff Lieberman- host of famous TV show Time Warp on Discovery channel, Prof. J N Goswami also known as moon-man of India, Amish Tripathi-author of Shiva trilogy and Dr. D.P.Kothari famous author of Electrical
Power Systems and Breath breaking performance by Anushka Manchanda.

FootPrints X4 gave magnetic series of mindboggling technical events and took the existing events to greater heights. It helped crowd to quench their thirst for technical knowledge through techzibition – a zone of technical exhibition. Humanoid robot,IRB 144 by ABB robotics,3D printers,Genibo robodog, swarm quadcopter were few of the exhibits. It also witnessed Mr. Andrew Newton - one of world’s most renowned hypnotist, demonstrate and speak about mass hypnotism , Mr. Kailash Katkar- Founder & Ceo of Quickheal technologies, Dr. M .Annadurai – Program Director Mars Orbital Mission, Dr. Abhas Mitra – Dean , Astrophysics dept. BARC . It gave a thrust to entertainment and fun elements with Live BMX show, Camp fire and jamming sessions. FootPrintsX4 actively carried out its awareness campaigns and upliftment works Under “ Say No To Plastic” campaign, it successfully attempted for World record of Largest paper Bag. FootPrintsX4 ended on high note with the electrifying performance by Bollywood music sensation Shilpa Rao.
