About us

Located within the ancient Qila Lal Kot, the first city of Delhi has grown into today's Mehrauli Village. It is one of the oldest continually inhabited zones in Delhi and saw constructions made by the different dynasties that ruled from Delhi. One of the major landmarks is the Dargah of the Sufi saint Qutubuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki, whom the Mughals had great respect for and Bahadur Shah Zafar built his beloved Zafar Mahal next to the Dargah. The walk will also take you to Adham Khan's Tomb, Gandak ki Baoli, Jahaz Mahal and Hauz-i-Shamsi. In modern times Mehrauli is transforming into an ‘urban village’ with new boutique shops coming up in spaces once occupied by havelis and old markets.
