As Eastern India Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Federation stepped into their silver jubilee year, they geared up to get re-launched in a grandest way possible. With an aim to connect to maximum retailers, this year saw a wonderfully revamped B2B event. Compared to the previous year’s 1500 retailers/visitors, this year will see more than 6000 visitors, with more than 300 participants from major manufacturing regions like Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Indore, Surat, Jaipur, Delhi, Chennai, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Bangalore and the likes.

Eastern India Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Federation or EIGMEF is currently promoting the EIGMEF Apparel Park. In fact, EIGMEF has been at the forefront of all developmental projects for the past 15 years. Since inception EIGMEF has successfully undertaken, handled and executed a number of issues such as opening of NIFT in Kolkata, removal of Excise duties on products aggressively working for the correct GST rates for garments, organized progressive workshops and seminars and organized industry-specific annual buyer-seller’s meets. EIFMEF is run and supported by the leading garment manufacturers and exporters of Eastern India. There are more than about 4200 members in EIGMEF, some of whom are very renowned names in the apparel industry in Eastern India.
