About the author

Prof. B Ravi heads the BETiC division of IIT-Bombay. He has been a part of NIT Rourkela, IISc Bangalore, and IIT-Bombay. In the last 25 years, Prof. Ravi has developed several technologies and won numerous awards including the DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Gold Medal. He has been on the committee for government agencies as well as visited universities internationally.
