Our bodies are wonderful machines, capable of so much more than we realise. Join us for 2, two day CONTEMPORARY DANCE workshops taught by Scottish Dance Artist, Hazel Angus.
Both workshops are suitable for all abilities and aim to provide you with an ongoing practise method for you to take into all other forms of movement as well as everyday life.
19th - 20th January (11am - 1pm)
BODY IN MOTION
Delving into the hows whys of contemporary dance, looking at realease, contact, graham and gaga techniques. Learning how to apply these methods in other ways to build strong, happy, healthy bodies.
24th - 25th January (5pm-7pm)
THE EXPRESSIVE BODY
Using the breath, eyes and... mind to add the new dimension to our movement, truly dancing frm inside out. A holistic look at dance technique, practising mindfulness and trust.
ABOUT HAZEL ANGUS
Hazel is a dance teacher/chooreographer from Scotland. Fusing the lines between creativity, technique and play, Hazel's students learn in a holistic way, nurturing both Body&Mind.
Having taught in various countriesaround the world (UK, USA, Israel,, New Zeland, Philippines), Hazel has developed a unique style of dance and teaching, sharing techniques such as release, gaga, contact improvisation, ballet, tap.
