About us

Join The Western Routes as we explore the ‘other’ side of the beautiful Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary and camp in a village situated inside the sanctuary. Winter camping cannot get any better than this!

Yelavali village is nestled in the verdant forests of Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary. Yelavali is accessible only on foot. We start our trek at Bhorgiri village at the foothills and make our way through patches of dense forests, some grassland and of course the Bhima river bed. This community-based tourism project at Yelavali is facilitated by Pune based NGO Kalpavriksh

Fun trekking, jungle walks, camp-fire, breath-taking views, sounds and sights of the forests filled with numerous birds, reptiles, amphibia...ns, and mammals which include the fascinating Shekru (Giant Squirrel) awaits you on this camp!

This is a pet-friendly trip!
