Programmers club of Comp Engg dept AIKTC new Panvel is a community for the students by the
students striving for technical competency especially Problem solving skills. Our core team
comprise of most passionate programmers of our campus (Students & Faculty members)
ALGORITHM is an annual inter collegiate event organized by PC whose primary aim is:
“To digitally cater Social issues and create social awareness with the help of computer
technology”
One of the main objectives of this event is to bring great minds together where they can develop
technical solutions to real life problems capable of building a better future for humanity.
Our last year's ALGORITHM 1.0 was based on theme “Social Awareness through Web
Development” which was a true success in realizing its aim. It involved building web based
solutions for tackling Human Trafficking, Woman Harassment, child Labour, etc.
This year's ALGORITHM 2.0 is aimed at “Digital Solutions for Natural and Manmade
Disasters”. You need to develop an Application or web based solution which would help to
provide quick aid in terms of disaster relief, disaster response and support to disaster issues.
Your solutions will be scrutinized by domain as well as technical experts. Your solution will be
graded based on certain parameters such as UI, functionality, responsiveness, DB Design,
Accessibility, Presentation etc.
P.S. Above parameters are only to give you brief idea of evaluation. However parameters can vary
or change based on experts suggestions.
