This trail takes you to the ghats through the meandering narrow alleys, old ruined splendorous palaces, myriad temples, busy markets and havelis (mansions), scenic views from beautiful balconies and so many other architectural marvels, from short rendezvous with localities to the emotions evoked during the last rites of loved ones at the ‘Maha-shmashana’ or the ‘Great Cremation Ground’.
Let’s explore the unbeaten paths and feel the different facets of one of the oldest cities of the world which has been a hub of art, music, dance, culture, education, philosophy and spirituality even before recorded history.
