Mystic Rose is a non verbal deep energy process which can free old, stuck energies, renew our vitality and create space for meditation, relaxation and silence. From Swami Advait:
--------------------------------Start----------------------------------
Yama refers to the five abstentions: how we relate to the external world.

After the process the participant becomes new born. Which is beautiful. A question often asked to me is that what to do after the workshop? Same life-style will gather dust and cause us to fall into misery again. This is something important to realise. During the workshop we also share various meditations which a participant can implement in day-to-day life and change his life-style.

Without discipline in our behavior, it will be too difficult to still the mind and meditate effectively.

By following wholesome behavior, meditation practice will progress smoothly.

One can keep meditating and if he is not following wholesome behavior the darkness is so much inside that it will be impossible to penetrate light just by following a meditation process. Even though if one is not meditating and simply following a wholesome behaviour he will be more happy and joyfull, will be in a deeper state of his being than the one meditating and not following wholesome behaviour.

During the course of meditation workshop, we strictly adhere to the following principles:

Yama:

1. Ahinsa: non-violence, inflicting no injury or harm on others or even on one's self, In this duration we also practice nonviolence in thoughts, words and deeds.

2. Satya: truth in word and thoughts, no exaggerated talking.

3. Asteya: non-covetousness, to the extent that one should not even desire something that isn't his own; non-stealing.

4. Brahmacharya: abstinence, particularly in the case of sexual activity. Also, responsible behaviour with respect to our goal of moving toward the truth. It suggests that we should form relationships that foster our understanding of the highest truths. "Practicing brahmacharya means that we use our sexual energy to regenerate our connection to our spiritual self. It also means that we don’t use this energy in any way that might harm others."

5. Aparigraha: Aparigraha is the Sanksrit word for non-grasping, it also means taking what is truly necessary and no more. (Aparigraha life style here at ashram is where one is dependent on donation made by others. One person donates and on the basis of his donation other person is able to meditate).

Niyama:

Niyama refers to the five observances: how we relate to ourselves, our inner world.

1. Swachhata: cleanliness of body and mind.

2. Santosha: satisfaction; to be content with what we have.

3. Tapasya: practices to experience full benefits of meditation.

4. Svādhyāya: self introspection to understand yourself, leading to clarity about yourself and greater awakening.

5. Ishvarapranidhyana: surrender to existence.
